Connected Claude to Canva and it's been absolutely crazy. What kind of superpower is this? Godddd😭
Canva on X
Canva draws warm praise — for speed and for people with no design training. Its AI, from Craft's layout-first generation to hooking it up to other assistants, is another thing people approve of; complaints are narrower — an outage on 22 October, priced elements and Pro limits.

How do people feel about Canva?
Praise makes up the larger part of this section: plain love of Canva is the biggest theme at 10 people, ease of use next at 7 and Canva AI close behind at 6. Fewer come away unhappy — 3 like it with reservations and 3 are disappointed.
Praise is plain and often about how fast something gets made: flyers and video, a photo-shoot brief, a template someone credits for the result. One person who connected Claude to Canva called it "a superpower"; others say Canva AI has got smarter, that ChatGPT can be hooked up in minutes to draft slides, and that Craft plans a layout before it paints, renders in 2k across 30+ aspect ratios and turns into editable layers. Free assets and fonts come up as a reason it is good.
Ease is the second strand: a first-time user was surprised how quickly it went after earlier struggling, a non-designer reckons they could make a better collage with it, and someone edited on their phone in a hurry and found it fun. The caveats are few: priced elements can feel expensive and some features still catch people out, though one changed their mind after learning the basics. Among the disappointed, one applied five times to Canva's creator programme without success, and a sixth attempt was rejected with the portfolio never opened.

most image models paint first and hope the text fits. craft from @canva plans the whole layout first, renders in 2k across 30+ aspect ratios, and turns into editable layers in one click. my figma files are feeling called out
お恥ずかしながら、今更canvaデビュー。 ら、らく〜〜〜!! 今までうんつらうんつら唸ってたのはなんだったんだ!

What do people complain about with Canva?
Reliability is the biggest complaint, at 7 people: outages that stall work in progress, slowness and forced password resets. Price and Pro limits follow at 5, then the editor's learning curve at 3 and missing features at 2.
An outage on 22 October accounts for much of the reliability talk: people posted that Canva had gone down with projects stuck in the queue, that they could not do their job that night, and one asked what had happened — "como assim o canva caiu" — while another said all their internship work was sitting on it. Slowness and instability are described more broadly, with Canva grouped alongside other tools one person says have never been worse, more unstable or more time consuming, and being made to reset a password twice drew a direct appeal to the account.
Price is the second complaint: priced items feel expensive, the free plan keeps the elements people need locked, and one person is looking to buy a cheap shared or solo Pro subscription. Behind that, the editor itself defeats some — hours spent on graduation invitations, feeling like "un básico principiante" — and a few work around gaps: no SVG download on Free, so PNG through Flat Logo and convert, and background removal that has to be finished in another tool.

What are the alternatives to Canva?
Comparisons are level and thin: Photoshop, Claude, PowerPoint and AI image generators are each weighed by 2 people, with single mentions of GridArt and of Canva used alongside ibisPaint and Illustrator.
Photoshop is the benchmark in a couple of senses: one person shrugs at the Canva talk and sticks with a decade-old torrented copy they admit they cannot use, and another jokes that years of Photoshop skill come down to someone asking "Can you do it on Canva?". Claude is raised as a design rival — one says its output is smooth and accurate enough to threaten Canva, and another ran the same greeting-card brief through Claude and through Canva Free and left readers to judge.
PowerPoint comes up over slides: whether workplaces are still PowerPoint-first, and one person who uses Canva depending on the situation but notes that a course asking for a PowerPoint file will not accept a Canva link. AI generation is weighed as faster and easier but weaker on creativity, while someone points out Canva has AI in it too. GridArt, and separately ibisPaint with Illustrator for more elaborate lettering, are named by one person each as what they edit with.

Imagine learning Photoshop for years just for someone to ask, "Can you do it on Canva?" 😂
I mean, ada canva, photoshop, and plenty of other tools. i get that ai is faster and easier, but does everything have to be done with ai now? apalagi konteksnya meme, where's the creativity? kadang hasilnya malah kurang ngena dibanding editan manual.
基本ibisPaintとCanvaの併用です! 文字のデザインをもっと凝りたいな〜と思ってIllustratorも使っていこうと思ってます💪

Questions· 1 post· written 27 Oct
What do people ask about Canva?
One question, from one person: whether Canva is an app.
This section holds a single post: a reply asking "is canva an app?". No other question about Canva was filed in this period, so there is no second person asking the same thing and no cluster of questions around price, accounts or how a feature works.
That one question is the whole of what people ask here, and it goes to the most basic point — what Canva is and where it runs. The count is one person, one post, so nothing in the ledger says this is a common question; it is simply the only one asked.

Wishes· 2 posts· written 27 Oct
What do people want from Canva?
Two wishes, one person each: a quicker way to find an old design, and Canva Pro at a price they can afford.
One wish starts from the complaint that finding an old design in Canva is maddening, and offers a short workaround instead — what is wanted is a faster way to track down a past design. The other is price: someone is looking to buy Canva Pro described as legit and affordable, shared or solo, for a month or longer, which is the same price concern that shows up in the problems section.
Both are single mentions, so neither is a pattern. They are the only two wishes filed in this period, and nothing here says how widely either is felt, or which of the two more people would share.
- Easier to find old designs1
- Cheaper Canva Pro1
