For the people in the posts
Your posts on Unnudged
If you’ve found one of your posts here, this page says why it’s there, how it’s shown, what we don’t do with it, and how to have it taken off. You don’t need an account, and you don’t need to give a reason.
Why your post is here
Unnudged follows the public conversation on X about brands and topics, and answers the questions people ask about them, like “What do people complain about with Wispr Flow?”. Under each answer are up to five posts that show what people are saying, one per person. Yours was one of them: it was public, it was about the topic, and it’s a clear example of what the answer describes.
Being shown doesn’t mean we agree or disagree with you. The answer around it is ours. Your post is shown as an example of what people say, never as proof that what it says is true.
Who’s talking lists the accounts whose posts on a topic got the most likes, reposts and replies, with a link to the most-liked one.
How it’s shown
The way X shows it: your name, handle and picture, your words exactly as you wrote them, the date, and links to the post on X, where people can reply, repost or like it. We never shorten a post, edit it, or put words next to it as if they were yours.
Teams who track a topic with Unnudged see the public posts about it in their own stream, shown the same way. That’s the product: a stream of what people say about a topic, not information about the people saying it.
What we don’t do
- We don’t sell your posts, or lists of people. What we sell is tracking of topics. Nobody can buy a file of posts or a list of accounts from us.
- We don’t build profiles of people. We read posts about topics. We don’t follow what any one person posts, or put together what you’ve said across topics.
- We never contact you about your posts. Nothing on our side replies to you, tags you or messages you because of a post, and nothing automated ever acts on your account.
- We don’t show protected accounts. Only public posts are shown. If you make your account private, your posts leave our pages.
If you delete it
We check the posts we show against X. A post that’s been deleted, made private or marked sensitive leaves our pages at the next check, without you doing anything.
Have it taken off
Paste the link to the post, or your @handle for every post from your account. A person reads each request before acting on it, so nobody can clear away posts that aren’t theirs. Within 7 days the post is off our topic pages and out of every team’s stream, for good.
It still counts in totals like “27 posts from 26 people”: totals never show who wrote what.
How we pick and count posts is on How we measure. Unnudged is not affiliated with X Corp.
