Lindy on X
Talk about Lindy is warm but general: the biggest group, 20 people, offers plain goodwill, while 15 credit what it digs up across Slack, email and Drive before a launch. The concrete asks and complaints cluster on the phone agent.

How do people feel about Lindy?
Reaction is warm but thin on specifics: the largest group, 20 people, offer general goodwill, while 15 credit it with catching something concrete across Slack, email and Drive before a launch.
The largest group states goodwill without specifics: 20 people call it handy or helpful, say its insights could streamline operations, or recommend it to someone else — replies to other people's threads more than accounts of their own use. Next, 15 credit it with what it surfaces across Slack, email and Drive: a broken promise and an unfinished migration caught before scheduled launch comms went out, sales lagging support, stock and open tickets pulled into one note.
4 describe it doing the day's work — scheduling, product tickets, support triage, PR scores — in one case as another employee in Slack, email and text; that testimonial is the most-travelled post here. 2 are taken with phone calls, including a bot that waits on hold. 2 doubt whether the output is real work: "just busywork?".
- Broadly positive20
- Impressed by what it digs up15
- Does their day-to-day work4
- Excited about the phone agent2
- Doubts it does real work2

I’ve been using @getlindy for more than a year now since I first heard @Altimor on @gregisenberg podcast. Only fitting my testimonial shows up next to his on the wall of love! There are a lot of guides on how to build your agent but Lindy has taken all that DIY work out IMO. I started using it just to automate the back and forth of meeting scheduling but now it’s really just another employee who lives in Slack, email, text to get everything I need done in time. It writes product tickets, triages support issues, routes work items, and more. If you want to try it out here’s my referral link. This isn’t a paid post just want to make founders lives easier. link
damn this is pretty handy
Lindy seems pretty helpful for business stuff.
making the bot wait on hold for you is genius laziness

What do people complain about with Lindy?
Problems are barely on the record: 2 people in 2 posts, one that the VoIP number can't receive online verification codes, one that a comparison page showed old pricing.
One person asked whether Lindy's number is a VoIP phone or an eSIM, then reported that the VoIP one "cannot do shit online for OTP" — it can't take the codes sites text you, which blocks anything that needs one. The other flagged to the founders that the Lindy versus Superhuman comparison page still showed the old $49.99/mo price; that complaint has been quiet since 23 September.
No other fault is filed in this section: nothing on reliability, on what the plans cost, or on runs that failed. The section is the thinnest on the page, and both posts are one person each, so neither is a pattern yet.

What are the alternatives to Lindy?
Few people place Lindy beside another tool: 2 people name Calendly, the most-named, and it comes up twice as a claim that Lindy copied it or as a dismissive "calendly who?"
Calendly is what the comparison talk is about, and it isn't a switching story: one person said Lindy is "like ActorDo and Calendly! Nice to see you copied them!", the other answered a scheduling post with a curt "calendly who?" Neither describes leaving a tool for Lindy or the reverse.
The rest is thin. One person listed Lindy among the workflow tools they tested that day, alongside Gumloop, without saying which won. Another's note that Lindy's comparison page against Superhuman still showed the old $49.99/mo price was filed here as well as under problems, which makes it the only pricing mention on the page; it has been quiet since 23 September.

What I worked on today (001 - 7 Hours): - Worked with Hermes to create @HyperFrames_ animations for a new youtube video - Setup @bot - Filmed screen recordings with @cap - Finished a video edit in @BorumiHQ and sent to client for feedback - Tested @gumloop and @getlindy workflows - Caught up on some emails and sent an invoice first timelapse messed up, so this is only afternoon

Questions· 7 posts· written 27 Oct
What do people ask about Lindy?
Most questions ask what it actually did: 4 people want to know how a run performed and what insights came out, including from messy input like customer reviews.
The questions are mostly follow-ups to someone else's account of a run: "how'd it perform?", what actionable insights it gave the business, what it pulled for them, and how it handled unstructured data like customer reviews. That is 4 of the 7 people in the section, and answering it is what a reader of those threads would want.
The rest are one person each and split in two directions. Two are about coverage and plumbing: whether Lindy works on platforms other than Slack, and whether the number it gives you is a VoIP phone or an eSIM — the same person who later reported the VoIP number can't take online verification codes. Two are about scope: whether it means you never have to call an airline again, and whether it can book reservations by phone and dial for you.
- What did it actually find?4
- Does it work beyond Slack?1
- VoIP or eSIM number?1
- Never call an airline again?1

Wishes· 5 posts· written 27 Oct
What do people want from Lindy?
Wishes are scattered: 5 posts from 5 people, all level at one person each, and no single ask stands out — they range from open sourcing Lindy to having it book reservations by phone.
The asks sit level at one person each, so none can be called the biggest. Two are about what it should do with a phone: schedule and call to book reservations, and, from a CRM angle, a 30-second post-meeting call that captures the next step, owner and date while it's still fresh.
Two are about feeding it more or different material: more data examples, and parsing Slack threads for inventory trends to cut restock delays. One is about ownership — "Now how do we opensource this!" — asking how to open source it rather than only wishing it were. The specifics are concrete: reservations, next steps for the CRM, restock delays.
- Open source it1
- Book reservations by phone1
- More data examples1
- Summarize calls for the CRM1
- Inventory trends from Slack1

schedule + can call to book reservations @getlindy
The CRM use case feels like a good starting point. I'd test a 30-second post-meeting call that captures the next step, owner and date while it's still fresh.
Now how do we opensource this!
Lindy needs more data examples.
Seeing Lindy parse Slack threads for inventory trends could cut restock delays
