if you're running a small services business or doing founder-led sales, this is a really good MVP tech stack. you can build a ton on top of it. Lemlist has a great API (i've used it for a ton of things) and it integrates perfectly with Grok Bot. same with Lead Magic. Just give it the API keys and it figures out what to do from there. clip from Builders of Charlotte with @colin_thornton full ep: link

How do people feel about lemlist?
The biggest single group of people posting about lemlist endorses it outright, 7 of the 20 in this section, and the next biggest use it as the hub their LinkedIn and email sequences send from. A smaller group runs it from inside an AI assistant through its API and MCP.
Straight recommendations are the largest thread. People answer tool questions with the name alone, call it "goated", or recommend it as the all-in-one option when someone asks what to use.
Behind that, 6 people describe running multichannel outreach in lemlist: LinkedIn and email sequences from one place, automated LinkedIn voice messages that they say get listened to more than text, and filtering which contacts to add before automating the message. One agency links its app to lemlist for a light four-touch LinkedIn and email sequence.
4 people come at it through agents: they call the API great, use the lemlist MCP as the delivery step after Claude or Dot does the research and list building, and one notes the API part "can get annoying".
3 credit its research and writing, citing a lemlist analysis of 62.8M outbound messages for the finding that lists of 10 to 50 reply better than lists of 500 or more. One pays for it mainly for mailbox warm-up.

- Relies on it for multichannel6
- Plugs into AI agents via API/MCP5
- Values its content and research4
- Warm-up is its core asset2

Having an ai tool like Claude connected to every tool in your business can change your life. I can control my computer, scrape outreach lists upload the csv into lemlist after checking against Apollo all from one place. Coming from tech sales where this wasn’t around 5 years ago, it’s all surreal. I can’t believe how many emails I wrote manually
The only 3 GTM tools I’d use to go from $0 → $1M as a B2B startup. 1/ Claude or ChatGPT The brain. Researches accounts, qualifies leads, reasons through signals, writes messaging, and decides what happens next. 2/ @syncgtm MCP The data + signals layer. Finds accounts, enriches contacts, tracks funding, hiring, job changes, LinkedIn activity, Reddit mentions, competitor signals, and more. 3/ @lemlist MCP The delivery. Takes qualified leads and runs the email + LinkedIn outreach. That’s it. Claude thinks. SyncGTM provides the data + signals. Lemlist handles delivery. You probably don’t need a huge GTM stack. Connect everything to Claude and run the repetitive work with scheduled agents. Comment “guide” and I’ll send the playbook.
In founder sales mode. Since yesterday I have started an outreach campaign on Lemlist for our platform Anansi Intelligence. Already getting some positive replies. LFG
if it's does the wrong way yes... and that's what most people do! people that do outbound on IG are flag by the algo, it's not the way it works and will never be (I guess). cold email still works use @thecoldiq , linkedIn as well with @lemlist. if you do great content, I would suggest to use mochi (themochi(.)app) to contact them (it's not flag by the algo this way).

What do people complain about with lemlist?
The complaints here are few and level: as many people describe outbound as stacking paid tools with copy-paste between them as say identical mass emails land as spam. A third thread, from one person, asks whether automated outreach still gets real replies.
Stacking is the practical annoyance. One description of the standard setup — Apollo for lists, Clay to enrich, lemlist to send, Gong for calls, Zapier holding it together — ends with the sender "moving CSVs between them at 11 PM". Another says most cold email teams run three or four paid tools that each cover a third of the workflow, with lemlist "sits on top somewhere". Both point at the same fix: one engine, no copy-paste.
The spam complaint comes from both sides. A recipient of automated prospecting mail says it makes them want a blocker that answers the agents back; a founder rejects a lemlist sequence for a first SaaS as hundreds of identical emails whose polite replies carry no real information.
The doubt about replies is one person's: 14,000 cold emails sent for one positive reply, and an open question about whether automated outreach is dead.
- Mass emails feel like spam2
- Stacked tools and copy-paste2
- Cold outreach stopped working2

i've automated my ENTIRE cold email process end-to-end with claude code. from ICP definition through list building, enrichment, sequence writing and post-send analysis. yet, most cold email guys are still stacking 3-4 SaaS tools that each cover maybe a THIRD of the workflow. • apollo handles the list • clay handles the enrichment • instantly handles the sending • lemlist usually sits on top somewhere. ALL scrapped together with manual copy-paste in between every step. meanwhile... claude code collapses the lot into one engine running the same workflow without the copy-paste. i filmed the full version because the door is open right now for the cold email guys who move first. inside the video: • how to define an ICP using reference companies instead of vague firmographics • parallel apollo scraping that runs through hundreds of accounts at once • parallel enrichment via claude (no clay, zaps, etc) • sequence writing that pulls voice + offer straight from the source material • a post-send analysis loop that tells you which variable actually moved the reply rate
Your outbound isn't broken. Your stack is. Apollo for lists, Clay to enrich, lemlist to send, Gong for calls, Zapier holding it together. And you're the one moving CSVs between them at 11 PM. The same 5 jobs run in 1 place now. Which tool would you cut first?
I personally tried. Used the entire stack (clay, supabase, vercel, instantly and lemlist). 14k emails per month, all personalised. It doesn't work as much as before because everyone is using the same stack. Same thing for LinkedIn outreach

What are the alternatives to lemlist?
People naming an alternative split evenly between Smartlead as the other sending tool and dropping the sequencer to send by hand or from a command line. The rest of the field is one-off mentions: Instantly, Apollo, Clay, Claude Code, or an unnamed service one person prefers.
Smartlead is the comparison that recurs. One person benchmarking Instantly, Lemlist, Smartlead, Saleshandy and Leadsforge calls them broadly equal and gives the first two their preference, with multichannel including LinkedIn as the thing to check. Another routes big volume and many client inboxes to Instantly or Smartlead and email plus LinkedIn to lemlist.
Level with it, 2 people describe doing the sending themselves — one from the GWS command line after calling lemlist far too expensive, one writing ten messages by hand to people with the problem instead of running a sequence.
The single mentions are where the stack is being redrawn: Claude Code collapsing ICP definition, list building, enrichment and sending into one engine, with lemlist among the tools it replaces; Apollo and Clay as the pieces around it; and one person preferring a service that registers domains, sets up mailboxes and warms them over Lemlist and the other tools named.

Don't pick a sequencer off a feature grid. Pick it by how you send. Big volume, lots of inboxes: Instantly Rotating inboxes for clients: Smartlead Email plus LinkedIn: lemlist Lean team, tight budget: link The rest: link
J’utilise lemlist mais je trouve ça affreusement cher et j’ai commencé à faire des minis campagnes simplement avec le CLI du GWS - ma seule question c’est comment partager ton système avec les équipes qui n’y connaissent rien

Questions· 3 posts· written 27 Oct
What do people ask about lemlist?
Every question on the page is the same one: which cold email tool to pick, with lemlist named among the options. Two people ask it while choosing a first tool; one asks how to go from 60 to 300 emails a day without landing in spam.
The asks are practical rather than critical. One founder wants to go from 60 to 300 emails a day without landing in spam, lists Instantly, Smartlead and lemlist as the candidates, and asks what people actually use and how they set up domains, inboxes and warm-up. Another starting from scratch asks whether lemlist or Instantly is the better place to begin, whether anything else is worth assessing, and for tips on starting.
The third is the shortest: a one-line reply asking "lemlist? brevo?" alongside a longer thread.
Nobody in this section asks how a specific feature works or reports a support problem. The open question is where to start, and the setup details — domains, inboxes, warm-up — are part of the same ask.

Cold email founders: I want to go from 60 to 300 emails a day without landing in spam. Instantly? Smartlead? Lemlist? Something else? What are you actually using, and what's your setup (domains, inboxes, warmup)? 👇 #buildinpublic #SaaS #coldemail
Anyone who's doing outbound and cold outreach... Which tool is a good place to start, looking at @lemlist and @InstantlyAI but curious if there are others worth assessing? Also any tips how to start from scratch would be appreciated!
